With decades of experience in yachting design, Zuretti Design focuses on creating breathtaking maritime-living concepts, with particular attention to crafting experiences that also deliver an ideal night’s sleep when on board. Dubbed the ‘God of Interior Design’ by a Benetti yacht lover and long-time client, François Zuretti began his remarkable career in Morocco, where he was commissioned with diverse interior projects for royal palaces and residences.
The collaboration
Through Zuretti Design, François Zuretti has established a long and prosperous collaboration with Benetti. This has led to the birth of custom designs such as Ambrosia and Saga and the series Benetti Classic, Tradition, and Vision, to name a few.
YACHT PROJECTS
The interior design concept of Project LIFE 85M balances decor and color, enhancing the luminosity of the environment. Elegant materials, ceiling heights, and curved lines create a harmonious indoor and outdoor connection with a contemporary feel. Ultimately, the full-height windows invite sea views inside while meticulous lighting design delivers a mesmerizing atmosphere.
The FB231 Ambrosia explores the Art Deco theme through rich decorations and artisanal details. A variety of natural materials, such as cherry wood, teak, ash, and maple, as well as goat and buffalo leather, mother-of-pearl, and bamboo, are elevated by hints of gold and silver leaf and precious marbles.
Classic yet creative elements, such as the dance floor featuring a piano, the alabaster wall lamps, and an aquatint depicting the Copernican universe, unfold through the spaces only to reveal more enrapturing customizations like the Stargate room on the Upper Deck. In this circular environment with a domed ceiling, guests can enjoy cocktails and informal dining moments immersed in the constellations of the southern and northern hemispheres.
The BC010 M/Y Freedom of the Classic 115 series, designed by Stefano Righini, was produced in composite material with hull and deck molds. With a length of 35 meters and three decks, it delivers customizable interiors, such as the Master Suite in the bow of the Upper Deck and four guest cabins on the Lower Deck.
In 1996, Benetti created the successful Golden Bay series comprising seven yachts based on a 50-meter platform, a record in the shipbuilding industry to that date. Customized according to each owner’s requests, every individual yacht was a unique piece, sharing only the same hull, systems, and a volume of 496 GT, an impressive feat for a creation of that size at the time.
Founded in NYC in 2000, the studio blends understated luxury with warm minimalism. The 25-year creative liaison between Enrico Bonetti and Dominic Kozerski emphasizes quality and craftsmanship, from art gallery projects to luxury yachts, including the Oasis 34M and 40M, and the B.Yond family.
