THE FIRST EDITION OF AZIMUT|BENETTI YACHTMASTER ASIA
- two days of workshops for super and mega yacht captains
- at Kee Club in Hong Kong from November 17-18, 2015
The popular annual event for Azimut Benetti superyachts Captains and Industry professionals celebrates 16 years of success and is now the central element of the new “Year-long YachtMaster” project, which will keep this community in constant communication before and after the event, also through workshops and training sessions on professionally relevant topics.
The Azimut|Benetti Group has always been attentive to the needs and skills of those who participate to the success of their vessels during all phases of the project life-cycle (from negotiation to build and delivery but primarily during the Owner’s enjoyment) and their contribution to maintaining the brand’s worldwide reputation for excellence. With this in mind, 15 years ago the first Azimut|Benetti YachtMaster was held.
Natalie Ye – Marketing Manager Benetti Asia and local organizer of the event refers: “After the great success of Yacht Master in Europe and US, last November we were in Hong Kong to welcome the first edition of Yacht Master Asia. The two day event took place – first day at Kee Club the exclusive membership club in the heart of our town for a full day conference. Follows with a fine dining experience at Carbone an Italian restaurant in the famous LKF. The second day, entertaining team building activities have be conducted at the well established Gold Coast Yacht and Country Club where you can find a few fair sized BENETTI lined up. As Benetti we welcome all the superyacht captains, chief engineers, surveyors, owner’s rep to join our events and share the joy with sponsors/partners also yachting media in the Region participating to witness the success”.
Yacht Master Asia is part of the new the “Year-long YachtMaster” project that will keep this community in constant communication by means of workshops and stages regarding relevant professional issues. It’s composed by 3 major events that aims to extend the presence to global scale – to cover 12 months per year – with local meetings in Asia (2015) and US (2016) in addition to European Azimut|Benetti Yacht Master as main one, from 3rd to 6th of February 2016.
Minor events will be held off-season from September to May. Along with that technical sessions and social events at the yard will be promoted to ensure continuity.
