The Collaboration
Benetti partnered with Malcolm McKeon Yacht Design for the first time to design B.Neos 40M, working closely with the studio to craft an exterior defined by expressive clarity, functionality, and efficiency. Drawing inspiration from high-performance sailing yachts, the design had to convey a strong connection to the sea while prioritizing weight optimization, hydrodynamics, and rational space architecture. The result is a yacht that stands out for her visual purity and purposeful elegance, creating a new benchmark in contemporary design.
The B.NEONS 40M
For B.Neos 40M, Malcolm McKeon Yacht Design translated their signature purity of form into an exterior that is both powerful and serene. Her low, elongated profile recalls the essential discipline of sailing yachts, where every line contributes to balance and proportion. The design ultimately delivers a sculptural silhouette shaped by lightness, intention, and flow.
Glass plays a defining role, from the silk-printed glazing that visually merges hull and superstructure to the transparent handrails. Accented by vertical wooden slats that add rhythm and warmth, B.Neos 40M reflects a vision intended to bring Owners closer to the sea through a quietly iconic design.
“Our AIM WAS to CREATE a YACHT that FEELS EFFORTLESS. A DESIGN where PROPORTIONS, FUNCTIONALITY, and the CONNECTION with the SEA WORK TOGETHER NATURALLY, without the NEED for UNNECESSARY COMPLEXITY.”
