Espen Øino International

The Monaco-based yacht design studio, Espen Øino International, was founded by Norwegian designer Espen Øino in 1986. Since its inception, the studio has been designing large custom yachts, conceiving some of the world’s most fascinating creations featuring advanced, eco-efficient technology, and has received numerous awards. Benetti and Espen Øino began their collaboration on Project LIFE, an 85-meter custom yacht concept imagined to enrich the Benetti fleet. The exteriors foresee alfresco living as a central theme to satisfy how owners wish to live their yachts today.

The Project LIFE 85M Concept

With Project LIFE 85M, Øino seeks to offer a range of onboard living interpretations inspired by Benetti’s ability to create new lifestyles, especially at the yacht’s stern. Therefore, all spaces are designed to focus on a new kind of social entertainment, with large convivial areas and reconfigurable meeting places on each deck. An outstanding example is the spacious, revolving lounge, conceived to change its focal point according to the time of the day.
