Benetti appoints Peter Mahony general manager of benetti asia
Benetti is delighted to announce the appointment of Peter Mahony as General Manager of Benetti Asia. Peter will be directly managing sales throughout the region, responsible for maintaining customer satisfaction levels and heading up after sales and marketing development to reinforce and build the Group’s preeminent presence across APAC.
Peter Mahony, from the United Kingdom, has more than 30 years’ experience in marketing and sales throughout Europe and in Asia. With a solid background in mechanical engineering Peter started his career in yacht manufacturing and sales with the UK’s largest boat builder, where he excelled to become sales director for their largest retail distributor. Peter became involved in developing and managing the strategy for a focused approach to superyacht sales. In 2008 he moved and took the lead role in the launch and ongoing sales of a full range of production superyachts for one of the worlds largest producers. In 2013 an exciting opportunity arose to move to Asia and apply his extensive experience to build up the firm’s Asian presence, market share and a strong regional sales network.
