THREE BENETTI CLASS CATEGORY YACHTSAT VERSILIA YACHTING RENDEZ-VOUS
For the third year in a row, Benetti takes part in the Versilia Yachting Rendez-vous from 9 to 12 May. The presence at the Viareggio Fair shows the fundamental importance that the city has had in the history of Benetti since its foundation in 1873. On display for the first time M/Y “Baya”, fifth unit of Delfino 95, M/Y “Good Day”, fourth Mediterraneo 116 and BS011, eleventh unit of Classic Supreme 132.
Again this year Benetti takes part in the Versilia Yachting Rendez-Vous, which has reached the third edition and which takes place every year at the beginning of May in Viareggio.
At the boat show, Benetti will present to the public its most representative yachts in the Class category, demonstrating the deep bond that the shipyard has with the city.
From Benetti Viareggio’s shipyard, in the last nautical year (2017-2018) 11 yachts have slipped in the water and the production is still in great ferment. Today, the Benetti team is working on 25 yachts, of which 9 are to be delivered in season 2018-19, that has induced jobs for 600 people.
This year, the Delfino 95 BD105 M/Y “Baya”, the Mediterraneo 116 BM004 M/Y “Good Day” and the Classic Supreme 132 BS011 will be on display.
M/Y “Baya” is the fifth unit of Delfino 95, elegant and classically styled 29-meter. The exterior lines, designed by Giorgio M. Cassetta, provide a cue for interesting plays of light in the interiors through extensive glazed surfaces. The generously spaced and welcoming interiors of the yacht are decorated with innovative combinations of marble, polished brass inserts and ash, eucalyptus and Tay wood, creating an interesting alternation of textures and colour tones. The owner’s cabin has a bed adorned with sophisticated leather-upholstered headrests and a spacious bathroom fitted with tub and shower. The second pilot house on the Sun Deck is ideal for enjoying the outdoor cruise. The two 1,000 hp Man V8 engines provide a range of about 2,400 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 10 knots. And when time is of the essence, the yacht has a top speed of 13.5 knots.
M/Y “Good Day”, is a 35.5-meter yacht with fibreglass hull and carbon fibre superstructure. She is the fourth model of Mediterranean 116 and also in this model the external lines, sinuous and slender, are by Giorgio M. Cassetta. The Benetti Interior Style Department created the interiors playing on the alternation of Tay, Tanganyika and Olmo woods to create a strong differentiation of environments. In addition to wood, the yacht is embellished with marble details and mosaics that characterize the bathrooms. Conviviality and comfort were the keywords dictated by the owner, who has requested dining areas on all the decks, along with a relax area with a swimming pool in the bow of the Upper Deck. The Main Deck houses the owner’s apartments, the living area and a kitchen equipped with a steam oven and a modern wok system. In the Lower Deck, the guest sleeping area has 4 cabins and all bridges are connected by an elevator. In the Upper Deck, at the request of the owner, an environment with a capacious wine cell is equipped for karaoke.
BS011 is a yacht of 40.24 meters in length and 8,28 meters wide and the eleventh unit of Classic Supreme 132. Here the flowing external lines are by Stefano Righini and find continuity in the elegant interiors proposed by Ezequiel Farca and the Benetti Interior Style Department. The contemporary style of BS011 is characterized by the contrast of light and dark shades given from the use of Eucalyptus, Oak and Beech woods, and Limestone, Greystone, Striato Olimpico and Nero Assoluto marble. The Sun Deck and the Upper Deck enjoy special outdoor living spaces and on the Upper Deck, the Jacuzzi, located forward of Pilot House, offers a stunning view over the sea. The layout extends over 4 bridges and has 5 cabins for 10 guests. The master suite on the Main Deck is preceded by a large entrance and relax area and hosts a communicating bathroom. In the Lower Deck, 3 VIPs with double bed and 1 cabin with separate beds, each with private bathroom, are the sleeping area for guests.
